I wanted to evolve the idea of pills in this short student film, to observe my growth as a filmmaker. In this version there is an external cause- which is personified by Bernard (Josh Shea). Alex (Manuela Obiago) explores her creative process in the midst of a manic episode.

The film deals with Alex, a girl with severe anxiety and depression, and her relationship with her prescribed drugs. Alex delves into the relationship between her mental health and her creativity, as she feels that she has to choose one over the other. Shot with the help of New York Film Academy.

This is the first short film that I directed. In an alternate universe where the name of your soulmate is printed in your wrist, our protagonist does not have any name printed.
